Wooden's Wisdom is a site that delivers a weekly newsletter and offers membership to a comprehensive “Leadership Resource Center” based on the teaching and works of UCLA basketball coaching legend John Wooden. I recently updated the site to be mobile responsive, as well as completely overhauled the look and feel of the site for both visitors and members with the site owners' input and approval at every level. At the site owners' request, I added additional content and functionality to the site as well. The user interface was updated for visitors and members for easier navigation and to present information clearly and concisely. There are new search features for visitors to preview the Resource Center before purchasing a membership and new pages for members to access new content. The visitor area now also has a form for lead collection for Wooden's Wisdom in person presentations.

This website has a robust backend that allows the site owners to upload videos and other data to the site easily on their own. The site has three user tiers with access restrictions: Visitors, Members, and Administrators. Visitors can only access the visitor section, which contains information on the Leadership Resource Center offerings as well as information for in person presentations. Members have access to the entire leadership resource center in addition to the content in the visitor section, although all the information from the visitor section is available to members without navigating out of the member area. Administrators have access to a backend that allows for maintenance of members, videos, tracking of the newsletter activities and more.

Black Bird Homes, LLC is a website with a simple one-page visitor section with some information about the company, and a simple contact form to collect leads from potential business partners. The contact form features a honeypot style spam filtering mechanism coupled with ReCAPTCHA, so no spam ever hits the inbox. The administrator section of the site was built to maintain business contact records, expense records, property details and images, and more. The administrator section also allows administrators to create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) database records. The screen capture of the administrator section was provided with express consent from the site's owner.

The dashboard retrieves the spam log in case a human manages to fill out the honeypot - which is virtually impossible. It also allows the administrators to quickly add an expense on the fly, without providing all required information; and then helps the administrators to resolve expenses that have not been completed. The administrator area also supports attaching images and documents to various records and sorting records by a wide array of administrator designated categories.
